It is Lam Yang Furniture Manufacturer Sdn Bhd commitment to ensure all wood materials purchase shall not knowingly come from forest areas that do not comply with relevant national legislations and sources considered as controversial sources. These include wood from illegal source, area in conflict or civil unrest, uncertified High-Conservation Value Forest, protected areas or similar and forest areas which currently being converted to other land use.

Lam Yang Furniture Manufacturer Sdn Bhd is also committed to ensure in long term all raw materials purchase are source from well managed forest that credibly certified. This commitment will be realized through:

• gradually reduce & eliminate purchase of raw material from unknown source.
• gradually increase purchase of raw material from good suppliers
• work with & encourage existing suppliers to source material from good forest practice
• work with & encourage suppliers to engage in a stepwise commitment to credible certification
